To achieve the mission of “Ageing in Place”, The Hong Kong YWCA sets up the “Y Senior Care” social enterprise to provide out-reaching health care and rehabilitation services to elderly so as to enable them to be provided with professional, holistic and quality care services at home.
Services include the provision of rehabilitation exercises, cognitive training, nursing care, household cleaning, escort and training services for carers, etc.. The social enterprise will provide on-the job training for the unengaged youth, single parents and underprivileged women with the purpose of enhancing their competitiveness in the open job market and self-reliance.
