With the funding support of the Enhancing Self-Reliance Through District Partnership Programme, Christian Action setup a social enterprise “Community Sales Outlet“ at Kowloon City, a discount retail store providing second-hand / donated household items. The SE has officially commenced operation in April 2016.
Second-hand items including new or old clothes, accessories, toys, shoes, bags, books, small household and electrical appliances. Items will be categorized and cleaned before selling at the store. Christian Action believed that sustainable business operation programs can serve to generate revenue to achieve social objectives such as protecting the environment, creating employment opportunities, as well as helping the needy.
