“Cha Duk Chang” – a Seed of Chinese Culture to the Heart of Children is an social enterprise project of the Cha Duk Chang Children’s Cantonese Opera Association Limited. The project offers Cantonese Opera workshops and classes for elementary and primary students with the aim of promoting Children’s Cantonese Opera to China and overseas, bridging up Chinese children at all corners with a touch of Chinese culture.
Apart from promotion of Chinese culture, the project also provides job opportunities for women and low income people by enhancing their working skills. It allows those who are interested in Chinese opera culture to become tutors through on-the-job training.
